I spent a summer without blogging any of my trips, sad really. I hope to bring this thing back bigger and better, trust me. I hope to move this to grassroots-mx.com in the future. As of now it is Sunday with nothing go on but snow. When i feel more willing i will put up something good.

B Town

I think D-Dog said it best, what the heck. Where do i begin? I will say i completed a successful journey into the middle of the state taking some wonderful shots for the mag. It was harder than i anticipated, trying to find that one awesome photo for everyone. On the motocross side of things it was a standard issue day for pictures, the lighting was good (i thought it wasn't) what do i know? ha. I took some good pictures of some fast kids but i need to interact a little more with the people i think, i know it will come to me soon enough. When i arrived on Saturday at the track i met up with Brandon and Justin. Casey would not embark on the epic journey downtown for a GrassRoots MX clothing shoot, he had to setup the KTM Oasis. Brandon and Justin were great models and made it real easy to get good shots of the boys modeling the tees. Click on the Rusty Dean Productions link located on the bottom of the page for more photos. Motocross Preview

As i step into my first weekend shooting motocross for the year, it comes with much higher expectations than last year. I have a greater understanding of what i want to accomplish with each photograph. I look for good things to come with my relationship with grassrootsmotocross.com giving me much needed exposure moving forward. Weekend Bliss

I really didn't move all weekend. I enjoyed the peaceful bliss of a sludge. I didn't do shit. I spent my time glued on the couch eating food, playing mario cart, and loving life. It was one of the last weekends the band was going to be together so i felt i was inclined to have a good time. I had several options for the weekend but i feel i chose the right one. Next week i will be back on the grind takin' photographs all weekend for Grassroots MX. I really think i have a career in this photo bit just give me some time. later ya'll!

Day One

Hello all and welcome. This is my first attempt at a blog. My personal goal is to update a minimum of twice a week. I hope to share with you a day in the life of reiss. Most posts will be at my attempts as an amateur photographer. I might just rant on one day, who really knows right?
